Additional information

How I protect your data

No information on this site will ever be shared with anyone, with the exception of those entities already mentioned. I keep your information protected behind a password system and make use of security features built into Wordpress and the Jetpack and Shield Security plugins.

What data breach procedures I have in place

Administrative passwords are rotated as needed and I am monitor the site daily to ensure that no one has breached the security. Should information ever be breached, I will send out a notice to my subscribers immediately via a blog post.

What third parties I receive data from

I utilize stats collected from the Jetpack plugin. It collects user IDs/usernames (when logged in), timestamp, country code, user agent, referring URL, visiting url, & browser language. I have access to none of this information. I can see how many views certain pages get, and how many people have seen the site and what country they visited from, but I do not have access to individual IP addresses unless a person comments, fills out the contact form or pushes one of the like buttons. The stats log, which contains visitor IP addresses and usernames (if available) are retained by Automattic for 28 days and are used for the sole purpose of powering the above listed features.

Jetpack tracks performance on each page load that includes the Javascript file used for tracking stats. This is exclusively for aggregate performance tracking across Jetpack sites in order to make sure that our plugin and code is not causing performance issues. This includes the tracking of page load times and resource loading duration (image files, Javascript files, CSS files, etc.). Tracking honors the DNT (Do Not Track) setting from the user.
