Daniela A. Wolfe is a queer fantasy and science fiction author who writes loud, emotionally charged stories about identity, magic, and rebellion. Her work centers transgender and LGBTQ+ characters in worlds shaped by spellcraft, machinery, and upheaval. She believes queer stories should be unapologetic, a little unhinged, and full of sword fights and feelings.
Daniela A. Wolfe is a queer fantasy and science fiction author whose work explores identity, resilience, and revolution through magic, machinery, and deeply personal stakes. Her stories center transgender and LGBTQ+ characters and embrace the idea that queer narratives should be loud, messy, and emotionally honest, preferably with swords involved.
Inspired by epic fantasy from an early age, especially The Elfstones of Shannara by Terry Brooks, Daniela began writing as a way to process feelings she once believed were unnatural or wrong. Now she writes to help others see themselves in fantastical worlds and recognize that they were never alone.
Outside of fiction, Daniela is deeply involved in local queer activism. She has served as Social Media Director, vice chair, and board member for a Pride organization, helped organize the county’s first Pride festival, led its first Pride march, and currently heads the Trans Pride and Joy Committee, working to build community and celebrate trans joy in a place not always known for it.
