To celebrate, I’ve decided to make my prequel short story Riftbound Flesh completely free to read here on my website.
The story is set in the story universe of Fractured Rune, the first book in The Aeldstorm Saga, my trans-led epic queer arcane industrial sci-fantasy series full of rune magic, ancient gods, political chaos, reality-warping storms, and entirely too much emotional damage.
So, naturally, I thought: what better way to celebrate Pride Month?
As a queer trans author, these kind of stories I needed growing up, even before I had the language to explain why. Being able to write them now still feels a little surreal sometimes.
If you’ve been curious about my work and wanted a place to start, this is honestly a pretty good entry point into the world of The Aeldstorm Saga.
