Cover Reveal: Koltja’s Shadow, Book Two of The Aeldstorm Saga!

The wait is finally over!

I’m incredibly excited to officially reveal the cover of Koltja’s Shadow, the second book in The Aeldstorm Saga, coming in early 2027!

And because you’re reading this on my website, you’re getting the first look before the official reveal goes live on social media!

Behold! Koltja’s Shadow!

When I began writing The Aeldstorm Saga, I knew Silfra’s journey would take her far beyond the events of Fractured Rune. Her story was never going to be an easy one, and the second book takes her deeper into a world of dangerous magic, political upheaval, ancient mysteries, and gods who really ought to mind their own business.

I’m especially excited to share this cover because I think it captures the darker atmosphere of the next chapter in her journey.

And yes, Silfra still has her axe. Some problems simply require an axe.

The Complete Cover

Here’s a look at the complete paperback design, including the spine and back cover!

The Saga Continues

Seeing these two covers together is particularly exciting for me. Fractured Rune introduced readers to Silfra, a trans heretic caught between religious tyranny, dangerous magic, and forces far beyond her understanding.

Koltja’s Shadow continues that story, and the stakes are only getting higher.

When Can You Read It?

Koltja’s Shadow is scheduled for release in early 2027. I’ll be announcing the official release date later, along with more details about the book.

In the meantime, if you haven’t started the saga yet, now is an excellent time!

Fractured Rune, Book One of The Aeldstorm Saga, is available now!

You can find purchasing options at danielawolfe.com/links, or visit the official Fractured Rune book page to learn more and read the preview chapters.

Thank You!

To everyone who has read Fractured Rune, shared my posts, supported my writing, or simply cheered me on, thank you.

Bringing this series into the world has been an enormous undertaking, and I’m thrilled to finally show you the next piece of it.

I’d love to hear what you think of the new cover! Which details catch your eye? And if you’ve read Fractured Rune, what are you hoping to see in Book Two?

The gods aren’t finished with Silfra.

Unfortunately for them, she isn’t finished with the gods, either.
